Early in her career, Dr. Nicole Whitehead began to distinguish herself, graduating Summa Cum Laude from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and continuing on to be Valedictorian of her graduating class from Life Chiropractic College West in 2002.
Upon completing her education and internship, Dr. Nicole built a busy practice in Michigan, caring for acute injuries and arising problems, but focused on helping patients achieve wellness and optimum performance.
Through her husband's involvement in the motorsports industry, Dr. Nicole became a sought after commodity by drivers and crew alike. Her performance enhancing services have helped keep these athletes in top-notch condition.
Although she enjoys caring for athletes and the whole family, pediatric to geriatric, Dr. Nicole also has special certification in the Webster Technique for care of pregnant women and has a C.A.C.C.P. (Certification from the Academy Council on Chiropractic Pediatrics). She is one of only a handful of chiropractors in the state of North Carolina to hold this certification.
Dr. Nicole works with OB/GYNS, midwives, doulas, lactation consultants, childbirth educators, and pediatricians in the community to keep mothers and children healthy. She also speaks frequently in the community and is a member of the nationwide Holistic Pediatric Association.
When not working at her practice, Dr. Nicole enjoys reading, trail running, and of course, watching motorsports. She resides in Mooresville, with her husband, Scott, and daughters, Roxie and Bridgette.
